Kirk Meyer Releases Fast 3D Grapher for TI-83+
Posted by Andy on 12 August 2002, 04:44 GMT
Kirk Meyer of Detached Solutions released a flash application Graph³. It is faster than the TI-89's built-in grapher. It features rotation, zooming, tracing, and more. It also draws either wireframe or hidden surface plots (and rotation is fast with either). Update (Andy): Version 1.0 is now available, which fixes some bugs as well as compatibility with OS version 1.13.

Any chance of a port to the 86? I know, port requests are bad, but the 86 is such a good calculator that it deserves something nice like this. :) I've seen some graphers for the 86, but they tend to be rather slow (20+ seconds for one graph). Anway, if I still had my 83+, I would be downloading this right now!

This is the really fast it seems like you can program better than the people at TI.(I'm not saying there not good programms but you Kirk Meyer made a faster 3d graph program on a slow Zilog perosser than TI.) Man how was this program be faster. I some what know the speed of the ti 83 plus cuz i've been learning asm on it for the past week but i didn't know it could go this fast. Man i don't know how you did it but you did. And the window size can be change for zoom man how long did it take you to make this program? And the program i really want to see is the on calc compiler i can wait til that comes out!!!
