The Big Merge
Posted by Niklas on 9 April 2002, 15:20 GMT
No, ticalc.org is not merging with another site. What's new is that through some of Magnus' continuous improvements, the filearchives now support merging of files. This means that if an author has multiple versions of the same game or program in our archives, the old versions can be merged into the latest one while still keeping the precious download statistics. To get this done for your files, simply contact filearchive@ticalc.org with the necessary information (author ID, file names and, if you can, file ID:s). Update (Niklas): Note that we can't merge file contents, just file statistics. So to add stuff to an old file you still need to upload a complete replacement.

anyways, I would first like to say a few things...
does anybody here think that my rpg's are any good whatsoever? I mean, I've been programming RPG's for about 4 months now, and so far i've developed many things, that can be used in basic mode, and still run smoothly-
~save name to a list
~have almost unlimited tiles
~have character sprites and animation
~have multiple stores/games/inns in the games
~have amazingly long story lines (haven't completely finished 'em yet)
~over 6 different battle systems (classic, Rapid Fire, Text based, graphix based, menu based, and quick button tapping style)
~the ability to have many different stats
~you can have almost an infinite amount of different monsters who can upgrade their levels with you if you would like
All of these above things have been developed by me (jeff), and every one of them has been used in at least one or two of my games. I am now requesting feedback, because I have lost my RPG developing...what's the word...will, I just don't have as much flair for them as I used to, and I keep abandoning projects because I never get feedback.
If you could please either email me about what you think of my games and if they're good enough to be kept and continue to work on them...or if you don't know it, go to my site (above link) and email me, I will be very happy and thankful.
-Jeff

I like the wolf one more...today i spent many many hours on the road with my dad...my mom wanted water from ney york state...so we get the water bottles...first stop was DMV to get the forms to take the test for the permit...next stop...Ramsey Outdoors to find Tru-Glo sites for me and my dads shotguns (i got m-1100 (semi-auto, no pumping needed), my dad uses the standard common 1187, (a favorite to soldiers who dont prefer the H&K one....the SPAS-12 isn't allowed because a military shotgun must be able to fire 3''shells...))...well the ones they had were crapy and werent tru-glo and didnt fit so...1hour later at Davis sports goods, we blow $80 for two sets...some time passes and were at the walmart to get rainx for the candy red eddie bowwwwer, and look at turkey crap, and get some junk food...long time on the open road passes and we stop at the burger king to get some burgers...eventually after long delay we are at the house....nice house...we fill the water bottles...it was like 82, slight rain drip, and breezy...we load the water, and attach the sights....short delay and we are practicing some patterning on a turkey target...i love that little side bandolier...keeps my pants falling down from the weight of the shells...we leave...my dad asks if we should take the long way home...i say sure....we end up back were me and him and his friend were yesterday...nice woods...i talk occasionally, and every once in a while i'm tunning out the world for some meditation...we are passing the franklin glowing rock mussseam and decide to scavange outside the fence for some rocks....my dad believes that they were mining uranium, not zinc, which would explain why the mine was flooded and fenced...after a long time we end up at the home depot to get some wire, florescent bolbs...and switches...next stop home...total ellapse time 9 hours...what you do today, Heh ;=) AOUouOuoUOuouOuoouoooooo
