New iShell, YAS
Posted by Eric on 27 November 2001, 18:51 GMT
Aaron Curtis and Jonah Cohen have released new versions of their popular TI-86 shells, YAS and iShell. Since it's basically a souped up version of YAS, iShell is recommended for most users. Proceed to download iShell v2.0 or visit Aaron's homepage for more information.

Unfortunately some old code got into iShell without Jonah or me noticing, so the password protection will crash. I swear this happens every time I release anything...

As Aaron pointed out, there is a bug in that version of iShell. Until Aaron updates the file on his site, a working version can be downloaded at http://jonah.ticalc.org/iShell.zip
Sorry for the confusion.

Sweet! How long has it been since you guys released your "Preview"? A year? Oh well, If I remember correctly, I didn't use it because it was incompattible with games that had already been run with AShell. Is this still an issue? I'll download this right away, it's great to see you guys still releasing stuff for the 86.
