I'm thinking that, maybe, the LPG might want to rename their index page to something other than 'Untitled Document'. This reminds me of FrontPage... ack.

OK... So first, Romain and I would like to address a big big big "Thank you" to those people whose only goal in life is to post "FIRST POST !!! HAHAHA !!!". Really.
We're spending hours and hours, never counting how much time we spend working on these softwares (also not counting how many money we spend on hardware), and all we get is "HAHAHAHAH FIRST POST !!!!" and the like.
This is a question of respect, I think.
Now concerning the news we submitted, here is the full text that was mailed to the ticalc staff :

New releases of TiLP and GtkTIEmu are available.
There's a new feature in TiLP, which allows you to group/ungroup/view TI group files (this is called the Group File Manager) ; it's handled through the use of a
new library, the TIFFEP.
Concerning GtkTIEmu, the debugger is now available on WIN32 platforms too, and you can now load files directly from disk (no need to use a virtual link anymore).
Both TiLP and GtkTIEmu have been successfully tested on Windows XP.
TiLP is being ported to Mac OS X, and a native WIN32 port should appear shortly.
Last but not least, JB and I are developing drivers for the TI GRAPH LINK USB, under Linux, WIN32 and Mac OS X (as part of the libticables for the latter). It's still a work in progress, however beta drivers for Linux and WIN32 are available (and usable) on the LPG website [1]. For the Mac OS X stuff, see the TiLP homepage [2].

Finally, we'd like to thank all the people who mail us. Your feedback is really appreciated.
(Who am I ? I'm Julien BLACHE, Debian maintainer of TiLP, GtkTIEmu and their support libraries, author of the Mac OS X port of TiLP)

Yes, hopefully in a few weeks you'll be able to receive/send vars, do screendump, and maybe small backups.
The thing is, the TIGL USB does not yet work as it should :) Basically, I get only 2 things with it : "Calc is ready" or "timeout" :P
I could have found 2 or 3 bugs while working on the Linux userland support of the TIGL USB, I'll check that in a couple of minutes.
Roms is designing a hardware sniffer, hopefully we'll be able to see how the TI software handles the device and then complete our drivers...
Anyway, I hope to release at least an alpha version before the end of the year, but do not expect anything completely stable before the end of January at least :-/
Glad to see that this OS X port will be used :-)
JB.

Blah. I was right, there was a couple of bugs. Squashed.
So, now I get a dirlist, screendump, vars (both ways), group files (both ways), and sometimes backup (download only -- 1/100 is successful => real problem here, same happens under Linux and Win32).
I've updated the screenshot on the webpage.
Sounds like I'll be digging inside Cocoa DnD this week-end, once I'll be out of the Linux kernel.
This was a good day, after all. Off to bed now %-)
JB.
