Advanced Text Editor v1.0 Released
Posted by Eric on 27 April 2001, 00:57 GMT
Yup, it's true. Jonah Cohen's popular all-purpose editor for the TI-86, Advanced Text Editor, has reached the big one-point-oh release. That means it's out of beta stage, for you slow ones. New in this version is a complete restructuring New and Open menus, a shortcut to frequently typed items, default source files, auto-indenting, and a whole lot more.

Wow. It looks really cool. Keep up the good work man. I wonder if there's anything like it for the 83+...

Great work indeed. I wish more people used ZAC (my Z80 Assembler for those who don't know), with such a great on-calc editor.

Woo hoo! Eighth post! Anyway, I believe that the "Anatomy" program is totaly inapropriate and I would like to see it removed from the archives. It is explicitly pornographic, and I actually loked at one of the pictures believing it to be an actual anatomy program with a wierd name. It should at least have a name change.
That post is full of spelling mistakes, and I know it. I am in a hurry.

Is that menu part of the TI-OS or is it part of the program?

Oh look, they did it again.

Let's see...
Open up MVC.89z in Notepad and...
Lo and behold, the words 'Marvel versus capcom for ti-89
' repeated thousands of times.
Ronald Lightfoot, I commend you for your incredible stupidity.
Hey everyone, apparently you can program the world's best arcade games in calculator form simply by typing their names thousands of times! Let's do this for every single one, ok? Maybe not.
God. This is getting annoying.
Oh, and by the way, he said in the readme to download 'DeLib' again. Maybe TIcalc's people should just deny him and Joel any files he posts with that nonexistent library in the Readme... since both so far have been stupid pranks.
Surprisingly, though, he did actually submit a real file; Street Fighter 2 v0.4. However, they have a single byte missing from some point in the file (a zero byte which tells the TI-89 where the file starts), so they too are practically useless.
