I don't see how it can fit on a TI-83. With only 27.3K of memory, how can 1500 questions with the length of the one I see on the front of the site plus the overhead of the structure be put onto it?

The data files are split into 4 different ones, you can only load 1 at a time as they are 16 kb in size.

Although on the 83+, you can have all four on at the same due to the wonders of archive memory.

yes, I also used to have the group file of Ion archeived so when it crashed I could be playin games again in just about 30 sec.

Now that I use Mireage OS I don't have to worry, it hasn't crashed on me yet.

No, just 4 (or some number) sections loaded when you want different questions. ;)

I would have to say yes, considering that I read the readme file and it thanked Jimmy Mardell for his huffman compression routines, and also thanked David Phillips for RLE routines.

The only thing that blows my mind is how in the hell he came up with 1500 questions to ask. And how he got motivated to type it all in. I frown on having to write an 8x8 sprite into my files. I almost died when i had to type in 36 4x4 sprites for a font.
