[insert some kind of birthday-related music here]

Today, ticalc.org turns four years old. Good job, ticalc.org! We couldn't have celebrated this without you. :)
Also, today is my first year anniversary of working here, but nobody cares about that, so I'll just say that this is my 222nd news item and that all you people rock for putting up with me for the first 221 *g*.
I have no clue how many files we have in the database right now, but I'd guess it's someplace around 12,500. Steve is spending his time at Microsoft's world headquarters in Redmond (that lucky hax0r), and he would be the one to know the exact number.
Thank you to all our fans and readers who keep this site going. It's been a great time since then, and lots of great and not-so-great things have happened. We couldn't have done all this without you. Thank you thank you thank you. Each and every one of you. Much love. Update (Phil): Nick is a very bad guesser. As of right now, there are 11,866 files in the ticalc.org filelist database table. Update (Nick): :(

This post is just a test to see if you can get a smaller message window. Its like the limbo--how loooow can you gooooo!
ANyway, I think i'm the first to say "HAppy belated birthday!" Although, i dont know if that is a true statement... The "birth" part just doesnt make any sense. Was TI calc.org REALLY BORN?? I mean...well, i cant get into the grizly details of child birth on this family oriented website, but it just doesnt make much sense. Was it ever...conceived? I guess it was concieved, in the minds of its original makers. But you could argue it either way, but not on this post, buddy boy,for if the reply window got any smaller, it would be one character to a line.
As for dim-ti...Archives are a bit old...Um...I was there last week and I saw something so...primitive, so ancient, so outdated it belongs in a meuseum. Thats right folks...PHOENIX 3.0!
The only grouch i have with this site is news and file updates are always far behind the other sites. Ti-fr or TInews.net will always have the news on some big program a DAY or so before ti calc.org has it. I realize that there are problably a plethera of emails coming in, for all diffrent calcs and some junk too, but...well never mind. Maybe we need a staff member whose sole purpose would be to post files. REad mail, post, repeat. Read mail, post, repeat. Then Nick could JUST post news. THen i could become a program reviewer, something i always wanted to be, but was denied without reason. Then money would grow on trees, and computers would be free and...
