This looks HUGE. Great site! Just a constructive criticism: The navigation is sometimes kind of weird, maybe that could be improved using ticalc.org as an example. :-)

This is one of the few sites that actually has links to the different programs available at www.ti.com. I think this is a very good idea for students and teachers who are not familiar with the rich set of programs available on the internet. For the authors of the site: Consider a link to the ftp.ti.com archives as well, and maybe sites like ticalc.org, ti-files, dim-ti, ti-fr...

This sounds like a good idea. I'd be interested to see how this turns out. The navigation system, however, seems to be pretty messy and not too well organized as of now. I think a better system of tutorials might also be to have general tutorials instead of the specific examples that are on this site (actually, I myself am in the progress of writing a system of general tutorials aimed at making beginners of 89/92/92+ BASIC able to create advanced programs). If someone were a complete beginner, just looking at this type of code might not help too much, whereas if someone already knew how to code would be able to figure out how to write this type stuff without looking at the code. Good work though. This looks like it could evolve into something better with some work.

Yeah, if the site had a professional touch, it'd be the best math-only TI site out there...

The aim of this site is to offer functional programs to the visitors, and to bring them the assistance in the resolution of mathematical problems.
Thus, the METHODS heading contains various articles, and the innovations is the presence of articles using several software.
I think that it is the first time that one can see this on internet.
These articles are objective.
The METHODS heading is addressed to a large audience: pupils and teachers.
All the visitors are invited to propose articles and programs!
Another innovation is the presence of an assembly heading ... and do not hesitate to contact Clément and Jonah!

There should be something like this for the z80 calcs, because there is enough stuff for the 89 and 92s right now.

The ASM section deals with Z80 assembly too. As for the math programs, the Z80 calcs don't have a CAS, so their math capabilities are pretty much limited :)

The 86 is a pretty good calculator for high math, engineering, etc...

The 86 is very good at higher math, but some of the things you could do with ASM functions would be much better, and, from what I see on this article page, TI-86 ASM (Z80) isn't as good at that stuff as the TI-89's and 92(+)'s (68K).

not graphics-wise, but the 86 is more stable than the m68k calcs, plus it can run 82/83/85 programs via emulation

The creation of a heading requires time!
I wanted to open the site before the examinations of the French students so that they can use the programs & read articles.

I HAVE A VISION... A vision that ticalc.org & hpcalc.org will join powers to found a supersite named grphcalc.org! It will boast a HUGE program library and and a virtually endless membership. Think about it: TI already monitors at ticalc.org. REMEMBER Z-SHELL? We could end up with colour ti-calcs that have IRs built in!

I think I have to agree. Link cables are easy enough to handle. Everything else would just make our calculators way more expensive. (In case I'm not thinking right: IR stands for Infrared, right?)

Gameboys have IR... (low enough cost)
I've lost 2 out of 3 of my link cables... and I don't know where that one is floating arround... and I have gotten my cables dirty, had bad link connections... (difficult use of link cables)

Sadly HP did away with IR in the 49...

i'm probably going to get a 49. i love that you can use it as a universal remote. i would NEVER put it down.

It'd be better to get a 48GX, since 49s don't have IR, negating its use as a remote control. ^_^
