Tex v0.2.0 Alpha by Guillaume de Vivies and Loic Minier

Aside from the initial shock of a French programmer actually claiming their file, Tex v0.2.0 Alpha is pretty neat. Designed by Guillaume de Vivies and Loic Minier as a front-end to Teos (but it should work on any shell), this looks pretty nice at first glance. It includes many file and folder functions, support for passwords, a real-time bench (whatever that is), and battery level detection. You can snag this fine spec-o-mine for the 89 and the 92 Plus.

Damn, the french know their shit. I just visited the site and some of its links, they've got some mahor stuff going on, which I've never heard off here on ticalc.org. Monkey Island looks mad sweet, this really makes me want an 89. I just don't understand why they don't go public with all their stuff (must be some kind of cult or something?).

Translation:
That’s the problem with United States people they feel ashamed of what they are. In top of that they don’t open their minds to other cultures. In the other hand Europeans learn two, three, four or more languages meanwhile North Americans (making reference to United States only) limit themselves to English.
PS: I’m not saying this is the rule of the United States but it applies to many people.
PPS: Sorry for any inconveniences… : )
For JaggedFlame:

My comments on the PROGRAM! :P
Good show... But...
Too ugly...
Messy copy&move... since there are actually marked keys for copy and cut and paste...
Confirmation on deletion, mainly protected/locked/etc files
On common dir/file view, have an idea if files are protected by any method
Colors... ops :)
Just that for now... Good work and keep it up.

First of all, I would like to thanks verybody who tested Tex in its first public release because it was buggy.
Right after this first release (0.2.0) we released (GdV and myself) a corrected version in a hurry : 0.2.1. This one is particulary stable, except may be on HW2 calcs... You may download it on our site.
I also want to say that we posted Tex at the same time on ticalc and on ti-fr so please don't we don't want to be known in the US !!!
It seems to me that news@ticalc.org isn't a good way to get a news on the site.
You'll notice that the actual file on ticalc has been posted by ourself. We also posted the latest version but it's still not updated.
