TI Unveils New Software, Future ConceptsPosted by Nick on 17 April 2000, 22:56 GMT
Miles Raymond gots tha goodz on us this evening, folks. We're talking hardcore. :) TI has recently issued a press release that: creates a network between students, teachers and the Internetallows students to communicate with the teacher, using the teacher's PC as a serverannounces the planning of more FLASH apps in the future.
The third one isn't that big a shock to anyone (at least, it's not to me *g*), but the first two are big. We're talking downright gargantuan. I recall many, many people trying - unsuccessfully - to network TI's together, and this looks like it could be the ticket. I WANT MY 32-PLAYER ZTETRIS! :) | |

it'd be better if TI made the network work with ALL flash-based calcs instead of just the 83+....

OH MY GOD!! This may let teachers delete your games even more easily! Think of it: a calculator under control of the teacher....not too good for the student game player. Good thing my school is almost 8 years behind the times....*sigh* computer class here was just typing class.
