FLASH Announcements
Posted by Eric on 7 April 2000, 00:10 GMT
Dan Englender noted to us today that many new FLASH applications have recently been announced by TI. These include a 83-style Finance application for the TI-89/92+, a Conic Graphing application for the TI-83+, and several other lower-level applications for the TI-73 and TI-83+. Most of the applications will be released in the fall; for more information, visit TI's FLASH home page.

You know the one program in the listings that lets you graph inequalities, I guess, it could be of some use. But, off the record, I found out about if you set the graph shade of the equation to the line the OPPOSITE way it should be, then the unshadded part, is the part where ALL Inequality Equation overlap. Man, this is hard to explain, e-mail me if you have any questions. I'll send screenshots or something.

has anybody else tried the ti83+ startup app? any comments? i find this app very...interesting, if nothing else. i find no real, productive use, just coolness. like, i wrote a password program in basic, but it's so easy to bypass. (yes, i know i should learn assembly). and the programs that ti has are sort of cheesy. anyway, does anyone have any good startup programs? id like to see some from other people.
