TI-89, TI-92 Plus and TI-92 Information By Gareth James
Posted by Nick on 29 March 2000, 01:19 GMT
Gareth James has written an extremely informative paper on various information relating to the TI-92, TI-92 Plus, and the TI-89's structures, variables, and some other general information. This should be extremely helpful for anyone developing assembly programs for these calculators. Now someone go out there and fix AMS v2.03 and HW2 support. ... j/k :)

This is just too nifty. I've been looking for a good source of info for the 92+ for awhile.
Hopefully this will inspire some people to get into 68k asm more, and maybe a hw2 (*crosses fingers*)
Btw, first comment. At least it should be. I loaded this up only about a minute after the article was posted.

Gareth's files.txt somewhere in the ticalc archive is possibly the single best reference on this site - a full listing of TI's file formats and how data is referenced internally (parsed/tokenized). I haven't looked at this, but it should be very helpful. . .

Gareth's informations are good, but they are very briefly. Although he documented much more functions than me, a lot of functions in Gareth's info are just declared, without any explanation. I think that my informations supplied with tigcclib is much more useful if you want info about particular TIOS routine (although, again, Gareth documented much more structures than me).
Btw, I just uploaded tigcclib release 1.5 on ticalc with floating point support and symbolic mathematics support (it will appear soon in the archive). In summary, more than 100 new functions in compare with tigcclib 1.1. And, after reading and understanding all info from Gareth's documentation which are currently unknown to me, I will prepare a new release of tigcclib (maybe 1.7) with a lot of new features too...
