Destination Software Releases Zenith Saga v1.00
Posted by Nick on 27 March 2000, 03:24 GMT

Zenith Saga v1.0Destination Software has released a great new game for the 92 Plus called Zenith Saga v1.00. This game is an interesting Zelda-like RPG with many great features. It requires a lot of RAM, though (50+ KB) and it's only for the 92 Plus. Despite these limitations, it has an interesting storyline and it should keep you entertained for a very long time. It's currently a demo, but it's in the final stages of development. This seems like a great RPG that has a lot of promise, with wonderful graphics and fantastic playability. Download it here for HW v1.00 users who also use AMS v1.0X. Hardware v2.00 users with AMS v2.03 can find their copy here.

Update (Nick): Windows 2000 is now on the list of operating systems you can pick for your account preferences. Having beaten Win2K into submission myself, I must say that it's shockingly stable. I haven't had one single crash yet that wasn't caused by blatant stupidity on my part. Once you get all your hardware working, that is (I still haven't - I'm webcam-deficient). Oh well - I guess less people will be staring at me now :)

I don't know; everytime I'VE seen an rpg demo, a year later and its either dropped from the authors' projects or it just never gets updated....

yeah, but when youve been working on an rpg for years, its kinda hard to just let it "drop". Itll get done, i just cant wait for the 89 port (like everyone else)

I can PROMISE you this, there is no way, what-so-ever, that we will even give a minor second to the thought of even *thinking* of dropping Zenith Saga.

yay for win2k! I just got a new comp with 15" flat panel LCD, PIII666, 128mb ram, 16 mb sgram Matrox G400, 10x DVD w/hw decoder, 32x/8x/4x CD-RW, and Win2k is running beautifully and surprisingly quickly and stable. Internet Games are especially smoother than on Win98.... not to mention GUI enhancements and stability/optimization of NT kernel. Linux still rocks, but for my family computer...
