Posted by Magnus on 15 March 2000, 16:34 GMT

Do you like programming TI calculators? How would you like to get paid for it? TI has immediate openings for:

  • Z80 software developers
  • 68000 software developers
  • TI calc programmer support staff

Interested? Send your resume to epsjobs@ti.com.

wait, what exactly do they want these people for? to make new flash apps or stuff like that that we can actually download? that would be cool...

Wrong. Since we started tracking who posted the articles, I've posted four. And a couple before that.
(Still a bit behind the 150 posted by Nick, but still...)

I sure hope they let the fact that I have a 2.85 at Georgia Tech slide when they look at my resume. I wouldn't mind moving to Texas, and I would certainly say that all of the folks here have a leg up on the rest of the Co-ops at TI.

I seriously doubt that one would have to move to Texas, as TI probably has other major locations, but for some reason, I think that they only would require contact via computer, so you could stay put, but I am probably seriously wrong...

Why wouldn't I want to go out and live in Texas. I would get to learn from their team and make important business connections, and get paid to do a 9 to 5 job. Plus I hear there are lots of hotties out there in Austin. Anyways, I think it would be a very fun and beneficial experience for me to go out there, rather than sitting on my ass at home doing contract work, and feeling unfufilled.

Wait a sec. . . did TI actually email you guys asking you to post a message about job openings? That's the impression I get from Dim-TI, and I don't see anything like this on TI's job openings page. . .

Yes, they did just that.
They're supposed to appear on the TI pages any time now :-)
