Void.calc.org Reopens, macross2000.org Released

Two rehabbed delectable sites for you to train your eyeballs upon: The Void Productions has completely redone their site so it now lacks the clashy colors of old times. Sam Heald and Derrick Ward, the two original members, gave me the heads-up on this one. They have also added four heretofore completely unknown new members to the team: Ahmed El-Helw, Harper Maddox, Kouri Rosenberg, and Wouter Demuynck. They are looking for two or three talented artists to join the group to help them with current and future projects. If you are interested, please contact Sam.
Also, Mikel Blanchard filled my email box with strange ramblings a day or so ago regarding the opening of Macross Software's new site. They have a domain name and everything - quite impressive. IMHO, domain names always help to make web sites better, but that's just my opinion. Just one question, though - what will Macross do in 2001? :)

Ive always wanted to say that.
Ive loaded this page at least 5 to 10 times, since it opened and this is the first time that this has happened.

Hey Nick, you have a little html error, when it says "Contact Sam", the link for "Sam" should be mailto:evil_sam@hotmail.com, you have it as just a normal link... so it points to ticalc.org/evil_sam@hotmail.com
Just thought I'd let you know.

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that Macross not only imitated the Firing Squad's design, but that some of their original ones were better? Can't we at least see a real design rather than a cheesy copy (and it IS a copy, regardless of whether or not the HTML/CGI is rewritten)?

Wow, quite a team has been put together. I'd have to say that this is the most promising group of (ASM) programers as of now, hopefully we'll get some great games out for the 83 (or for the 86, and then ported to the 83.)

Heretofor? Now even I think Nick is running out of words!
A question: Has anybody even considered a Zelda II project? I know a leet compression algorithm used in the original game. (north castle was 54 bytes, the cave with the trophy was 43 bytes...)

That's not true. I have a domain name for my site and it's crappy as always.

What will Macross do in 2001, you ask? They'll just buy another one from <shameless plug> www.alphapython.com for 20 bucks! </shameless plug>

Ok, this is really pissing me off. I haven't been able to get on Dimension-TI since it closed for the new server. Yes, I know the new server is up, but I still get a blank white page, not even the little Dimension-TI title thing saying it will be up soon. And that means I can't get on TCPA, or Void Productions, 2 of my favorite programming groups (which makes this on topic!). Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with my computer?
