Otaku Programming Association: opa.ticalc.org
Posted by Nick on 10 January 2000, 03:33 GMT
And you thought life couldn't get any better. You were so wrong. Otaku Programming Association is now hosted under ticalc.org. This hosted site is another programming group. They have released programs such as Fallup for the 83 and the 83 Plus (Ion) and Latin Translator II for the 89. They're currently accepting new members and they have some great programs in store for the future, so be sure to head there soon!

otaku...obsessed/abnormally-devoted-to programming association? At least that's what I remember otaku as meaning....
off topic, sort of:
Anybody else see ti-83's that stray from the normal z80 calc design and look more like an 89? The buttons are bigger and the screen isn't behind a slanted piece of plastic...

What does it take to get your sited hosted at ticalc.org? Does it need to be 'good enough' or something, because i like our site better then this one.

I'm not sure if you all are experiencing the same difficulty that I am, but in the Latin Translator I constantly get "Internal Errors" in my 92 Plus, prohibiting me from using the program. I thought that maybe this was due to my 92 Plus being incompatible with the program, so I tried it on a friend's 89 and still received the same problem. I am running AMS 2.03 and HW 2.00. Maybe someone can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong....

Hey, guys! You can stop insulting us now, the guys who made Fallup have quit OPA and we've taken it off the site. Ditto for Latin Translator.
