Reviewer of the Month - Doug Koellmer
Posted by Eric on 2 December 1999, 01:59 GMT

This month we have selected Doug Koellmer for our Reviewer of the Month award. As one of our newest reviewers on our Reviews team, Doug has already made a significant impact with his numerous high-quality reviews. We have seen a nice increase of reviews in the past month, and we expect this trend to continue. Thanks to all our reviewers!

I was wondering

I was wondering if people actually read the reviews. And if so, has anyone ever been swayed one way or the other on whether or not to download a certain program?

Of course people read the reviews the day before I got my graph link the only thing I did was read reviews to be ready with the decision of what programs I was going to download.

Well I would say go check the webstats page. But unfortunately, ticalc.org combined the /archives and /reviews directories into the /archives directory, so you can't really tell.

But my guess would be most people don't bother reading the reviews before they go download.

Why do you even reply at all? Your last 4 posts have been nothing but criticism, as if this site has transformed into garbage ever since your relatively recent departure. It seems as though you've been sulking in a corner all this time.

Odd, I don't remember you ever critisizing this site when you were still among the staff....

When I was still on the staff, I didn't realize how corrupt the coordinators were and their plans...

Selfish, maybe, but corrupt - leave that for people who want to take over the world or something.

You wouldn't consider hypocrites corrupt?
