Has anyone looked at the awards page? It has results up to June and a link to vote for July. Ticalc, you're doing a great job on everything else, but I think this needs an update.

That's because I was the maintainer of that page. Apparently it hasn't been assigned to anyone else.

If this is the October POTM results, why does the title on the page say November?

I don't see anything in the title that indicates November

Once again POTM proves that there are certin things to seal the victory:

* Grayscale/animated screenshot
* name recognicion (Named after final fantasy or other franchise game)
* voters that don't actually test the games

and next month...

* Programs that don't deserve the green icon but got it anyway...

Let's arrange a stack of 83+'s in a perfect replica of stonehenge... And make sure the link cable noose is tight enough... And next time don't submit Quad 80...

You're right about quadratic formula programs. So many people have made them, it's not like they're original or anything. I think a math program that should be recommended for POTM should have more features than just a prompt for a, b, c for the quadratic formula. How about a suite of features? There has to be at least *some* ingenuity when creating programs.

What if someone made a grayscale quadratic formula program, called it Final Fantasy Quadratic Solver, and made animated screenshots?

The Quad80, Stonehenge of 83+s, and the link cable noose was a reference to the fake news article that ticalc deleted later.

Highschool freshman attempts suicide after not getting green icons on his programs, such as QUAD 80, Guess the number, Ultimate Pong 1.05...

I didn't notice they deleted it. Do you know why they did?

They determined that their post wasn't following their own guidlines. :)

Actually I think it was that a lot of people got offended and were upset about the contents of the news.
