Legends for the 83/84+

Let us use the multiplayer motif to segue into this next feature. There is something to be said for the physical presence of your competitors that online multiplayer gaming has yet to recapture. The look of defeat in your foe's eyes. The joy that you get from performing the perfect victory dance moves. The ability to flip over tables when things just aren't going your way.
For those who enjoy a good, tactic-based battle with friends, it's time to tip your hat to NanoWar, author of the much-acclaimed Wizards. Building upon this premise with finesse, NanoWar's more recent release, Legends for the 83/84+ is an outstanding addition to the card game genre that might not be collectible, but still lives close to the CCG tradition. Simply put, the game is outstanding. Legends comes across as a labor of love, featuring a bevy of bodacious spells, charming animation, and a rule set for those of us questing for depth in our games. As such, we definitely recommend giving the readme a look-over so that you get a good sense of how to play and, ultimately, win!
Special thanks to those who suggested this overdue feature for Nomination November and, of course, NanoWar for this outstanding release.
