As Hayleia puts it himself, this attention is both a good and bad thing. As it sure is nice to get (MUCH deserved) attention, the fact that the game is nowhere near complete, as opposed to what those news seem to be claiming, will possibly deceive people who wanted to grab a fully-fledged version and play it right away. It is possible that such news were written now instead of later because of the big awaiting for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Yes, I'm sure that this is the case -- news outlets always want those clicks, and anything that's buzzing right now is going to make those headlines.

That being said, there are so many people who do amazing calc programming that it always makes me happy to see a broader audience enjoy what people in the community are doing. Happy to see Hayleia's work getting out there, and people generally seem to be quite positive about it. That's always a good thing :)
