TI-MasterBox
Posted by Ryan on 6 February 2013, 16:08 GMT

Last week, I received an e-mail from Jose David Abad (a.k.a., Granveoduendes), asking for my impressions of a project that he has been working on called TI-MasterBox for the TI-Nspire. To Jose, my official response is as follows: looks great!

Programmed in Lua, TI-MasterBox is a toolkit for creating graphical interfaces. Features currently include widgets, checkboxes, tables, system events, and more. Jose has made the source available, and while TI- MasterBox is still in an early form, future developments have been implied (nudge nudge). Make sure to check out the rest of the project home for a more thorough walk-through of its usage, and be sure to give a nice hats-off to the author!

I personally don't have an inspire, so I'm not really into these things, but I'd like to say congratulations on the feature.
It also looks and sounds great. I hope many people will make good use of it. :)

It's also cool to see some more Spanish folks around here. The project looks really impressive so far, do you have any plans for it beyond a library for creating graphical interfaces? That is, is this the final product or is it part of an even larger project?

De todos modos, ˇfelicidades!
