Brian Coventry's Chess!Posted by Ryan on 1 December 2011, 16:20 GMT
Chess is arguably one of the most indispensable strategy games in existence. Studied in-depth by
such famed scientists as Binet and occupying its own areas in cognitive psychology, a good game of
chess is always as gratifying as it is exhilarating. Yesterday evening, the rather talented Brian
"thepenguin77" Coventry
released Chess v1.0
for the TI-84+ here at ticalc.org. To be quite frank, his release is jam-packed with features. He has
included a gorgeous title screen, 2-player mode, "moderately challenging" AI, saves, a game clock,
and even custom starting positions. To all TI-84+ owners, here is your chance to brush up on your
chess skills, enjoy a classic game, develop your planning skills, and start on your way to expert performance all at the same time! | |

Umm... Sorry if you downloaded this already, but I accidentally made it crash upon exit. What happened was a slightly previous version went over the 8811 limit, so I messed with port (25h) so that it wouldn't crash. But then I forgot to take out the code that saved the previous value of port (25h).
So, when v1.1 gets posted, it will all be good. :D
