Cemetech Contest #8: Arcade GamesPosted by Ryan on 22 November 2011, 20:26 GMT
So, you say that you love arcade games, love to program, and have been sitting at home alone, isolated,
pondering ways in which to reach out and touch the calculator community? Well then, good news! The fine folks
of the Cemetech community are hosting a programming contest for your TI-83+/84+ series calcs. The three TI-relevant language categories allowed in the contest
are as follows:
All three of these language categories are folded into a single contest category. Calculators have always lent themselves considerably well to arcade and arcade-style games, and there is a lot of excitement
behind this contest. Whatever your level of programming experience, this sounds like a great way to get some
software out there that the whole calculator community can enjoy!BASICHybrid/Extended BASIC (e.g., Axe)Assembly

I invite everyone to drop by and considering entering Contest 8! Thus far we have about eight definite entrants, with a few others debating what to make. Although it's not mentioned above, we're also accepting Casio Prizm games and computer games (heresy on ticalc.org, I know). We're hoping to have some good prizes, although nothing is decided yet.
