TIGCC Forks: GCC4TI
Posted by Michael on 12 January 2009, 15:42 GMT
A group of programmers has developed a new fork of TIGCC. GCC4TI incorporates the bug fixes from the latest beta version of TIGCC, as well as additional features such as the restoration of VTI as a supported emulator. The GCC4TI webpage contains links to a mailing list, wiki, and forum. Community input is welcomed to assist the project.

Hey, thanks Michael for posting the news (I don't know who submitted it ?) :)
Perhaps even more important than a Wiki for working with a community, is the bug report / feature request / patch tracker. It's great for storing the todo/wish list in a centralized public location, and allowing the community to comment on it.
TIGCC has been lacking one for years. We still have no other way of knowing (part of) Kevin's todo list than discussions on message boards, and private mails.
For the forum, we're using the powerful yAronet engine. Its reply tracking system makes it a useful complement to the tracker.
