ticalc.org Adds 40,000th File

We've reached yet another file archive milestone: The 40,000th file was added to our archives recently. Congratulations to all of our authors who have made this possible!

Note that there are actually slightly less than 40,000 files currently in our archives because of deleted files.

This is an amazing milestone! I remember when we passed one terabyte of bandwidth used. How many of these files are BASIC Math Programs? Does half sound about right? :)

Here's a count of the BASIC programs by calculator type. Note this is a recursive count, so this is counting everything, including subdirectories of any math directory (as we have in 83plus) 23 73/basic/math/ 44 80/basic/math/ 88 81/basic/math/ 311 82/basic/math/ 786 83/basic/math/ 2238 83plus/basic/math/ 361 85/basic/math/ 778 86/basic/math/ 1037 89/basic/math/ 208 92/basic/math/ 210 92plus/basic/math/ 120 v200/basic/math/ ---------------------- 6204 (total)

I'm with you! ...actually, I have a game in beta for TI-89, and I need testers. Only 7 slots available. Should work with 89 AND 89Titanium. The biggest TI project yet is here... Still, I hope TI keeps going strong for the next 40000.

It uses some powerful ASM utils and a fixed screen size. It COULD be ported later, but...

Has anybody tried to make windows 3.1, or IBM OS/2 Warp 4 O.S.'s? or an Apple 2e+ emulator, and a commodore 64 emulator for the TI-83 Plus?
