Dan Weiss has released v0.6 of his 83+ flash application shell CrunchyOS. New in this version is the CrunchyOS Builder which allows ASM programs to be packed into the app, thus saving space. Compatibility with MirageOS programs is also improved.

"Crunchy"? That's my least favorite M&M variety! No, that would be peanut, crunchy is my second least favorite.

this is an awesome program! i especially like the program compression (ie more games :D )
it seems to work nicely enough with my ion graphics programs too
right now there's a calc graphics competition going on (click website link above), for pictures drawn for the ti calculators, original artwork
i like to make my graphics in assembly now, since the os seems to compact them to such a tiny filesize. Seems more efficient than built-in pic support

Okay, it seems that people are getting the mistaken impression that the shell is compressing programs... It isn't. It only runs compressed programs that have been written for the shell, as well as standard uncompressed Ion and MirageOS programs.
I will be porting a bunch of programs to the shell soon, so that the users will have a bunch of compressed programs to use with the shell.
