Escape from the Alien Moon Slime!
Posted by Michael on 18 August 2004, 02:39 GMT

[Escape from the Alien Moon Slime] That's not a warning in the article title, but rather the name of Thomas Williamson's new 2-D shooter for the 86. The highlights are grayscale and the enemies: evil Humo-Bots, Lunar Tanks, and Moon Slime, among others. While the game lacks thorough documentation, it does have a second level pack included for after you beat the original levels.

So who is going to port this to the 82/83/83+/84 family?

I'd love for it to be ported to the 83 plus, I sure would download it.

Aren't you forgetting 89? I'm too lazy, but if someone else did it, I'd be incredibly happy to play it. Just make sure it's compatible with the 89Ti b/c I've heard complaints from a certain person I know who gets annoyed that nothing's compatible with it...

I feel embarrassed to be asking this, since no one else has asked about it, but how do I get past the second screen? The only action key I know of is the fire key, and shooting at the barrels does nothing. Also, I can't squeeze between or push the barrels.

A further comment: Make sure that your batteries are fresh before playing this game, perferrably a contrast level of 5 or lower. Otherwise, selection pointers on the menus will suffer from gravity effect.
