Verdante Forest RPG Released for 83/83+

[The Verdante Forest: Arkaine' Arrival] Maarten Zwartbol has released The Verdante Forest RPG: Arkaine's Arrival for the 83 and 83 Plus. Essentially, it is a standard roleplaying game in which you must collect items, fight monsters, and gain experience. However, this project has been under development for three years. Consequentially, the gameplay is detailed by the number of available magic spells, types of armor and weapons, et cetera. This looks as if it will join the ranks of classic 83/83+ RPGs.

Guardian's pretty good. It gets repetitive and is easy to beat, but like you said, anything to keep you entertained in class.

Yes, but that was a demo version,and the game wasn't complete. This time, the game is completely complete.

Well there has been a previous version released, but not months ago. If my memory serves me that's around 1.5-2 years ago. And notice that the current version is chapter 1 of the story, there are 6 more chapters which will be released. I am waiting for comments to balance it further, since my previous tester noticed some large imbalance when it came to battling/doing damage/and leveling up.

Yeah. In a few battles my characters earned 200 experience for killing one guy while in others they got 1 for killing three. I put the chick's attack up to about 50 and did 400 damage on a guy too.

Only 50 attack? My guys have over 70. The exp thing is kinda weird though.

I got in some weird thing a gained a level in every battle I fought. Both my guys have everything at 100 except attack which is around 150. Lelani did 1300 to a guy once.

Can someone please help me here? I haven't tried it yet, but since my TI-84+ doesn't have many games, is it possible that I can Download TI-83+ Games without changing the 2.21 OS?

Whenever I try to run this game from MirageOS, I get an error telling me I'm missing a Map. I have all the files on my Calc, though. I'm asking for help here, because Maarten Zwartbol's e-mail doesn't work (my message is returned to me).

Try downloading the game and the map again(to RAM).

OK, when nothing was left in RAM, I only had 22000 bytes left. I reset and I had enough to send both progs to rem. (Strangely, when I send them to my calc I have 117 bytes left, but when I send them to VTI, it has over 400 bytes left... Hmmmmm...)
