RPG is probably the last word I'd use to describe this game, more like action/adventure game with inventory puzzles. Nice sci-fi storyline.

Well I was a beta tester, I had the TI-83 Plus Version, of course i deleted it. :P

I was a TI-83+ betatester too... I think i still have the beta on comp, not sure though... Desolate rocks!! From the first moment i got to test it i knew it: This would become one of the best TI-83+ games yet! It has everything: cool story, gameplay and graphics!

u dont, u take the 83+ OS file and put in VTI's folder, assuming thats what u need it for...

I don't think the 83+ OS will make VTI work. You need to have an 83+ and use a ROM dumper to get it. Otherwise you could look for some sites on google, but if you don't own an 83+ it's illigal, but i won't tell :)

VTI only works with 83+ ROM 1.03 and (I think) lower.

Not exactly, it supports 83+ ROMs up to 1.12.

ok, something along the lines that it doesn't support the new ones. Anyways, I have only tried it with ROMS version 1.16 and 1.13, both of which did NOT work. I think my old black 83+ (which has a broken link port) still runs v1.12 however.

You don't need a ROM dump. You can just download the updated OS off of ti's website and that will work just fine

I've downloaded the ROM's from the TI website and put it in the VTI folder with all my other ROM's (86, 89, 92+, and PedroM :-). When I run VTI and pick "Set calculator/ROM version..." it doesn't even give me the option of picking ANY TI-83(+) ROM version.

Does VTI require a certain file extension for the ROM's, or do I need to convert the file (which looks like a hex dump) to a raw binary file somehow?

Looks like a great game...but quite big. I mean, on a TI-83, it'll take up ALL of the space, leaving no room for anything else. And, hopefully, if this game is ported to the 83+/SE, the 83+ users (like me) will find that its still quite large --- bigger than an app, even! Of course it's a really good, game but still...

I don`t care what the size is. This game looks GREAT!!!

Though it is bigger than an App, the gameplay will make up for the size (unlike some other games I
have played)
