Benoit Scherrer and Brian Tribondeau Release SolarStriker v0.11 Alpha
Posted by Nick on 16 October 1999, 18:47 GMT
Benoit Scherrer and Brian Tribondeau have released an alpha version of a vertical scrolling space shooter called SolarStriker. It is available for download from our archives for the 89, 92 and 92 Plus. Its graphics are astounding and the gameplay is excellent. It's an alpha release right now, but so far, Benoit and Brian have done a great job. Source: TINews

Why does the ss for the 92+ on your page(Benoit & Brian's) look better than the 89? What I mean is the clouds and ground look better on the 92+ ss, thanks for your help.

Hey, The game looks neat, i wish i had a 89, i saw one for 90 bucks but when i saw it i didnt know how much it costs(wahhh), i have a 86. And someone translate all that up there. And the first person to say something, i could have been first(i hit reload, reload for long time and i say the page change, it had no comments for awhile.
y arent there any new 86 games? Does anyone know Asm good? were is a good place to learn? i know BASIC alot of C++ Javascript HTML and more and i really need to learn ASM so i can make one program that runs On86 and Ashell auto come up and so i can have BGPic built in to, and i wanna try to make it where u can add a comment to each game in the shell so u remember what it is, and i want to make View Text program have a way to type it all in easier. and more. i am good programer, someone email me the best site(the address) to learn Asm. And can someone email me how to get this stupid RomDump to work! when i run it on comp it just says its finished and doesnt work, iu cant get bmp2asm to work either, same prob--do i have to run em a specail way--if so how? email and post it plz.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but Solar Striker was one of the first shooters for the Gameboy, so if you're really desperate to get a preview, take a trip to Best Buy :). The screenshot looks great, by the way.
