How To Use a TI for Internet Access At School
Posted by Nick on 9 October 1999, 22:54 GMT
Justin Karneges has published an interesting article regarding the usage of TI calculators to access the Internet in a classroom setting. Some people will find this interesting, especially the privileged few who take their laptops to school. :) Source: Dimension-TI

I would probably be easier (but more expensive) to use a cell modem in the laptop. In my school, it would be impossible to put a WLAN card in one of their computers without me getting in a tremendous amount of trouble. Therefore, the only solution I can think of is having a cellular modem in the laptop and using the Graphlink and the software. Maybe Microsoft could make Internet Explorer for the calculator!

I don't know why anyone would want to use their TI to access internet. I know it's a very good idea, but it's a lot of hassle and pain.
