Destination Software Opens
Posted by Nathan on 2 July 1999, 10:31 GMT

Destination Software's website is now being hosted on ticalc.org. They have written a TI-BASIC RPG for the TI-92, and are currently developing ASM programs. The URL is http://dsoft.ticalc.org/.

You know, that TI-BASIC RPG actually looks pretty cool, if you ask me.

Too bad I don't have a TI-92, or I'd find out myself. ;)

Hehe, it's pretty cool, very hard though. Just wait until we release our first Assembly game.

hahaha. That was the _most_ of the wall thing I've ever heard. Talk about drifting from the topic! But, it's crazy stuff like that that makes us who we are. Anywho, thank you guys for your comments towards our new home! Were working as hard as we can!

Unless you were allergic to seafood like me. On this topic, does anyone else find that new series of Long John Silvers commercials, with the goldfish talking about how good LJS's seafood is, a little disturbing? is it just me?

I love Destination Software's site. It's simple, easy to look at yet incredibly professional. Anyhow I wish i had a 92 so I could check out ZS when it comes out :)

Well, we found a better hosting service and moved the site there. This should be the permanent location for a while, so we won't be moving it anymore :) Click on the link above to goto the new location.

That's pretty rude. TICALC.ORG agrees to host your site, and three days later you ditch them for Dimension TI. If I were a member of ticalc.org, I'd be irritated...

anon

Would you be saying the same thing if they moved from Geocities to Xoom? That would be being rude to Geocities.

Hahaha. Go Chern. I'm not sure if you noticed but chern is pretty partial to calc.org (he made their 3 or 4 formats) =) Hey, and if Calc.org has CGI and ticalc.org doesn't I'd go with calc.org too (if I didn't own my own server =P) =)

He also happens to be a past Dimension-TI member, and he's still our graphics artist and layout designer (okay, I just made that title up, but still).

Well, I found a better hosting service, can't blame me for switching. And I wouldn't take it like we were "rude", it's just plain old competition, calc.org offered more so we switched. If ticalc.org wants more sites, why don't they add more features to their accounts?
