Phil Killewald, author of the seven volume TI-83 ASM Logs Column, has started a new column. It focuses on TI-86 Assembly. You can find it in our features section. Feel free to email us at features@ticalc.org if you would like to write a column. | |

I'm usually not that bad with my spelling, but thanks for pointing that out. I write everything in Notepad, and I wanted to publish this as quickly as possible because I was so excited... Forgot to transfer it to a program with a spell-checker. That's my fault.
And, about the table width... it should be the same width that Ticalc naturally uses... that's what I based it off of. I'll get it all repaired and submit a better version to them...

In the next column, I'll try to slow down a bit... I wanted to get people assembling as quickly as possible, though, and I figured that a "hello world" program was pretty good to begin with.

Not sure about other ppl, but this is the first 86ASM document that I read that actually made sence to me, the others I've read seem to go way too fast, or make giant leaps. And besides for a few changes in the version of the incs I downloaded, I thought it was a great document for beginers like myself. Can't wait for the rest of the logs!

it would be kind of cool if someone had an assembly class over irc or something. then people could ask questions and stuff. of course, i dont know who would be willing to do it, and it would be hard to pick a good time to cover all the timezones. but its a thought
