scs.ticalc.org Opens
Posted by Nathan on 27 April 1999, 07:37 GMT

The Symbolic Circuit Simulator homepage is now open to the public. This page showcases the TI-89 BASIC program "Symbolic Circuit Simulator," which is exactly what it sounds like. This is a wonderful tool for students needing a circuit simulator for class.

.

Yeah, that's nice. All these positive comments. has anyone downloaded and used this program, and figured out how to use it first, before commenting? Greatness is relative. (Theory of relativity :) )

...you found all those positive comments, just
because scs went out almost one month ago.

SPUI

It took me about 5 min to figure it out and solved a few AP E+M problems with it - works great!

:o)

That sounds great!

It is easy to use to anyone familiar to circuit simulators. But you should read the documentation to get the most out of it, ok?

Enjoy!

Warning! 92+ is not 89
Warning Guy
(Web Page)

Please, be aware that EE*Pack programs are made for (and verified and tested in) TI89's only.

I've verified them exaustively in TI89 and they seem to work perfectly up to this date.

Some guys told me that they runned fine in TI92+.
Although, I've received reports from wrong answers from TI92+ users that tried to use them in their calculators.

If you use them in TI92+ you can get wrong answers that look like right answers!

Please, AVOID runing programs that were designed for TI89, in TI92+ calculators, since these calculators are not 100% compatible... ok?

SCS for other calculators
Roberto
(Web Page)

I've made SCS in a TI89 to run in a TI89.

I'd like some serious TI92+ user to make a serious attempt to run SCS in his calculator, and report me the result.

I'll make an SCS for HP as soon as the new HP comes out.

I'd like to know how many of you would be interested in a visual circuit descriptor for SCS. Interested please email me at interested@scs.ticalc.org

Re: scs.ticalc.org Opens
Bat and Seb

We tried SCS and it is very well.
But we made an other program to make circuits analyses with Per Stenius algorithm...
There are some features:
-graphical interface
-symbolic analysis (with filters too)
-good numerical analysis
-and...

We think that we'll begin to put on internet XCsim (its name) after our exams (1 or 2 weeks) but it's possible that a beta version is going to arrive this Monday...
