Baseball '99 v1.0 released
Posted on 23 December 1998, 20:42 GMT
Sam Heald has released Baseball '99 v1.0 for the TI-82 (Ash) and TI-83 (AShell83). This game is based on a handheld LCD game by Tiger Electronics as well as a TI-83 BASIC game by Bill Nagel. Features include three modes of play (HomeRun Derby, Exhibition, and Season), real baseball teams and rules, fast gameplay, and good graphics. There are no current plans for a TI-85 or TI-86 port. Sam plans to optimize the source code and release it later. Sam has also released Pac-Man 99 v0.5 for the TI-82 (Ash) and TI-83 (SOS).

Heh... Now I remember the TIGER Handheld version of this game... Anyone know if you can still purchase these things anywhere? My dad loved it, and it'd be a great gift for him.

Reminds me of a game on the Commodore. I'm not sure if was on the C64 or C128. I think it was on the C64. Anyone else played it on the commodore?
