TI-Graph Link software for NT 4.0 out of beta
Posted on 8 December 1998, 05:13 GMT
Texas Instruments has finished beta testing most versions of the TI-Graph Link software for Windows NT 4.0. TI has released new versions of the software for the TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, TI-86, TI-89, and the TI-92 Plus. The TI-73 and TI-92 versions are still in beta testing. These new versions will run on Windows 3.1, 95/98, and NT 4.0 and come with a custom installation program.

Let's settle this once and for all. Is there any software that works with an 89 and a parallel link. (Please don't tell me to buy the TI-GRAPH-LINK, because I'm too cheap to do that.)

It's about time that TI finally supported people running NT. A linux version would be great though.

TI, NT, Linux.......

I recall when my dad first installed NT, and I realized I couldn't send through NT. It pissed me off no end.
Well, now I use Linux, and since TI isn't interested in releasing their proprietary source code for public porting to Linux (or even just port it themselves)... Well, I know there are alternatives... Then again, seeing how lax I am at putting stuff on my calculator... Haven't since *last* fall...

I guess they don't want hard core computing scientists to use a TI. Do you think you could ever be productive in cutting edge numerical analysis by using NT! SMP.
