TI releases updated 89 & 92+ Graph Link software
Posted on 11 November 1998, 22:01 GMT

Texas Instruments has released version v1.13 Beta of the TI-Graph Link software for the TI-89 and TI-92 Plus. These versions are for Windows 3.1/95/NT 4.0 and support English.

According to Texas Instruments' website, the TI-89 and TI-92 Plus Graph Link software for the Macintosh is due out in the fall of 1998. It appears to be behind schedule and should be out soon.

agent double "O-SH*T"

i have a ti-89 and for some reason the assembly libs.: util, hufflib, hexlib, gray4lib, and linelib don't work. i
have them on my calculator but when i run certain programs it says "libraries not found:" and the name of a
library. or it says library not valid: followed by the name of the library. when you try to run a library it
supposed to say "LIBRARIES NOT EXECUTABLE" (all caps). On the libraries that it says don't exist it
says nothing, but on the ones that it says are invalid it says "Libraries not executable" (not in caps). Can
anyone help?

Make sure that your libraries are in the main folder, they don't work if they aren't there

I have the same problem--wondered if it has something to do with different versions of the library. Anyone?

Is TI ever going to release a 89/92+ version of their link software for a Mac???!!!?? Fall 1998 is almost over. Don't leave the Mac users who choffed up $150 bucks for an TI-89 without a way to link.

Hey! Is ANYONE working on a program that works with a Parallel Link?

That's great and all, but because the GraphLink doesn't work with my (crappy) computer, I have to use a LPT Link, and nobody has software for that yet! Is there ANYONE out there that's working on a program like that? Please post if you do!

Hi, my name is Cary and I have a TI-89 and also use the parallel link cable. Their is a program out there that allows you to transfer files with the parallel link. The program is called W32Tran8x 3.1. The ticalc site says it does not support the 89 but I my self have had succesfull transfer to and from the calc to the computer.

Stupid graph-link monopoly
Nathan Lewis

I just got the plus module for my 92 a couple days ago. Luckily, the ROM version is the latest, but I don't have a graph-link cable. I made my own parallel cable long before the 92 was ever out, for my 85. It still works on my 92, but not with TI's software. I'm left to the whims of the developer community to connect to my calculators. But what about upgrading the ROM? Is anyone going to make a program that will upgrade the ROM in a 92+ through a parallel cable? Why doesn't TI just break down and support the -free- parallel cable (I made mine from stuff I had lying around my house.) I'll tell you why. They want you to spend $50 on their freaking serial connector.

I haven't tried the 92+ with my parallel cable yet.

What a bunch of BS.
