Chip8 and SChip8 Emulation on the TI-85
Posted on 22 September 1998, 01:59 GMT
Andreas Ess of Icarus Productions has released uChip8 v0.1 for Usgard, an emulator for Chip8 and SChip8 programs. Chip8 is an interpreter used in the late 70s and early 80s to program simple video games. SChip8 is an advanced version of Chip8 and was popular in the early 90s on the HP48. Included are a few games such as Brix, Invaders, Tetris, etc. and also a converter utility to convert Chip8 programs.

That sounds pretty cool, but to the programs have to be in .85s format before they can be sent?

Request for Chip8 and SChip8 Emulation on the TI-85

Andreas, I've got a small request:
Could you remove the delays, (or at least some of them) to make gameplay more smooth on the 86. At least on , it seems sluggish. You could post it as "optimized for 86" or something. Just an idea.
