TI-Graph Link Software for Win NT 4.0 and Mac G3
Posted on 20 September 1998, 07:25 GMT
Texas Instruments has released beta versions of the TI-Graph Link software for Windows NT 4.0 and Macintosh G3. All versions are avilable for Windows NT, but only the TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, and TI-92 versions are available for the Mac G3. The others are still being developed. Now all we need are versions for Linux. :)

True, that. We DO need ports of the graphlink software for linux. I'm glad at least TI has recognized the need for availability of the software on other platforms. I wrote a feature a couple months ago describing why I thought releasing the source for the TI-Graphlink software was a good idea (TM), but it appears TI strictly adheres to the 'proprietary' in proprietary software policy. At this point, I'd be perfectly content if TI would create ports for X11/Linux...which shouldn't involve much work, after all, they did it for NT4 and MacG3. Many software companies have come to realize Linux is the fastest growing OS on the planet, and after the Windows OSes and MacOS, the third most widely used OS by TI calc users. We need ports for linux, TI...for the love of God, please recognize this fact!

It's actually not just a G3 version. It's a new version that supports ALL Macs and has G3 support now. TI is real stupid.
