But when i read all the comments on this page, i'm really indignant ! Please, all people must STOP THE WAR BETWEEN TICACLC.ORG AND TIFILES !!!!!!!! This 2 web sites are really excellent and i think that they are fuller. Ticalc.org obliged Tifiles to be better and Tifiles obliged Ticalc.org to be better. This is the right way.

Well, it's not the exact same thing but Ti-files won an award given by another site. This other site wasn't related to any calculator web site.

But I still think that ticalc.org is better.

Well... I hate to bring up the battle of the sites here, but after reading what's been posted in this string, I am not given much choice. TI-Files is currently at http://ti-files.gsu.edu/ and it has not been down (to my knowledge) since the weekend it was put up, about 3 months ago. As for a domain name, that's true, Ti-Files doesn't have one, but who would judge a site completely by their URL?!

Seeing ticalc.org as better than TI-Files is impossible to explain to TI-Files users... it's like trying to explain to a BASIC programmer why C is better. It's just more organized and the text doesn't sound like it's written by a stoner.

Ok, that's just lame. Ti-Files has always been a good site, and just because they aren't preps and cant afford high-priced servers. Also, the Files does something that shows their true devotion to the TI community. They put the files up by hand. Not by some server script. I know and respect SQL and CGI, but the Files deserves applause for keeping a site of that magnititude by themselves. I don't understand why people have to rip on the Files. They went through a period of server instability, and finally found a home at http://ti-files.gsu.edu/ (A very fast and reliable server I might add). I have much respect for ticalc.org too, but that doesn't mean I have to choose sides. Overall, ticalc.org is a more professional and efficient site, but if you want user-friendly content and a loving staff, visit the Files. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Thanks for reading, and keep up the good work.....both the Files and ticalc.

Doesn't Bryan Rabeler hand-check every file that goes on ticalc before he puts it up? The scripts ticalc uses are probably in place to HELP bryan sort the immense amount of files out that he has to go through every day. Just my two cents...

That just shows how popular ticalc.org is and that is awesome. First of all, I do not agree with someone's comment (made earlier) that TI-Files looks better... TI-Files will never be better.

Did you see their excuse of not updating files... hmm, what a coincidence, the same time ticalc.org stops updating for a week... I wonder what that implies... TI-Files is just a rip-off of TICALC.ORG with a few additions. Don't download from TI-Files, stay at TICALC.ORG... for life.

Look you idiots! The Ti-Files archives being down does not relate whatsoever to ticalc.org being down. DJackal does go to colledge and my cousin was moving into his dorm the same day DJackal was.
