TI Announces New Calculators

Texas Instruments has announced two new graphing calculators that will soon join its line-up. The TI-73, available Summer 1998, will cost about as much as a TI-83 and will be aimed at middle school math and science students with support for customizable applications. The TI-89, available Fall 1998, will cost about US $150 and will feature most of the TI-92's functionality in handheld form. Both models feature electronic upgradability with Flash ROM. We will soon have dedicated pages the Calculators section and Calculator Programs and Software Archives for these new models.
