Attention span: 6/10 watching AI vs AI is fun
Controls: 8/10 hard to play with 2players
Implementation: 8/10 follows pong theme well
Overall: 7/10 watch AI vs AI for more fun

Here's yet another addition to that well known, and often copied, theme known as Pong.

You should know by now that most pong games aren't meant to accelerate in graphics.

The gameplay here is the usual pong ditto, except for the fact that the AI is nearly impossible to beat at medium (I lost horribly, 10-0), and TOO easy on "bad". After a score sometimes the ball will surprise you by appearing too quickly and out of reach. After the ball bounces for a while, it starts getting faster and faster. It gets hard to keep up with after awhile. It would be nicer if it were easier to "slam" it so it confuses the computer. This, and better yet, every pong game would be so much better if there were 2 player link play (a la ZTetris), but I don't (can't) code asm so I wouldn't know how hard it is to attempt something like that. It is a little hard sharing your 89 and both trying to look on the screen, but it still works nonetheless for 2player games.

The controls are nice, and don't slip too much. Playing against the AI tends to be repititious. Replay value isn't that high, but hey, if you get bored, you could always put it on AI vs AI in expert and watch the little ball go round 'n round.

This is a program you'd want on your calculator if you don't want a big fancy game on your calc and enjoy losing to the AI a lot (or beating it senseless).
