Attention span: 1/10 The minute it takes to run. Controls: 1/10 Nothing to control. Implementation: 1/10 4 programs? For this? Overall: 1/10 Don't waste your time.
"A basic chess game? It would be damn cool if they pulled this off", I said in anticipation. No soup for me, all it does is draw a chessboard. Nothing more.
Despite being divided into 4 separate programs, all this game does is draw a chessboard (very slowly at that) and places "P's" in the "starting positions." The board looks pretty good but, since you can't do anything, it is all for nothing. This should be under graphics programs and, even then, trying it out would just waste a minute of your life.
Normally I get to write nice, long, and detailed reviews. Alas, this game fails to even give me sufficient material to write about. You know, it's great that you make small programs to test out ideas, just don't post them! |
