DodgeWal 89 is a simple game trying to fall into that category of simple-but-addictive. It could use a lot more work!
Gameplay: 2/10
In this game, you try to keep your cursor from touching the walls of a box that keeps moving around. However, (1) the game is too unpredictable. I couldn't figure out whether I was going to dodge into or away from the walls, and (2) the controls didn't work, meaning that I couldn't move the cursor at all!
Graphics: 4/10
The graphics were OK, and quite simple. I probably would have minded more had the game worked.
Speed: 5/10
The game ran at a nice, mostly fast speed. A hair TOO fast, actually, but on the whole, not too bad.
Replayability: 2/10
The game is the same every time, but the programmer has put in a high score board. Since you can't move your cursor, however, the point quickly becomes moot.
Style: 3/10
While the game didn't look very polished or stylish, it does show that the programmer was trying.
Ease of Use: 0/10
I could find no documentation for this game, and the obvious keyboard controls didn't work. When I took a look at the source code, I found out what was really going on. And then I realized it wasn't working!
Gut Intuition: 1/10
This game appeared like any other game: presenting a possibility. In this case, a small possibility, but still one nonetheless. I was disappointed. First, it appeared not to work. Then, I found out that it WASN'T working! I quickly dropped and deleted it.
FINAL SCORE: 2.428571/10
If I had to say what could be done to make this game better, I would say
1) Make it WORK!
Other than that, you've got nothing to worry about!
