Suitability: 9/10 A great emulator Ease-Of-Use: 8/10 Easy, but it crashes if you cancel a transmission Overall: 9/10 Missing a few forgiveable things and has a few avoidable bugs, but it's a great tool for ASM programming and testing.
This is an awesome 82/83 emulator for Windows. I wouldn't program without it, it has probably saved me 5-10 graphlinks and 2-3 calculator link ports. The emulated screen size is adjustable. There are many programming helpers such as:
- Save screen dump
- Resizable screen
- Memory viewer/editor
- CPU Register viewer
The emulation is very easy, and no use of a link port is required at all. For those who care, the source code is availible to the public.
It isn't without faults, though. If you send a file to it, then cancel, it crashes. Also I would like the ability to save 8Xp's to your computer. That way you can play RPGs or make external levels using the emulator.
