Description
|
This program gives you the integral factors of most polynomials in one variable, and writes them out in factored form, when you enter them like they would appear in a text book. For example, 64x^6-729, is factored into: (2x-3)(2x+3)(4x^2+6x+9)(4x^2-6x+9). 8x^3+27, is factored into: (2x+3)(4x^2-6x+9), x^4+2x^2-15, is factored into: (x^2-3)(x^2+5). You can use any variable from A, to Theta, and there can be like terms in the expression, and it doesn't matter in which order they are entered. UPDATE: The program is basically the same as AFACTOR5, but with proper input and output. It has a subroutine, APOLSUB1, that needs to be installed.
