Scrolling through the archives of asm games to keep me entertained during chem class, I came upon this very-well implemented version of a classic TD game
Graphics: 7/10 ;nothing special; you can differentiate between the varying types of towers, enemies, and other tiles. Good enough to make the game work well
Controls: 7/10 ;easy gameboy style controls. The major complaint I have is that the alpha key serves as both a B style cancel as well as the "start next wave" function
Speed: 9.5/10 ;very fast until the later levels. but then again, this is a problem with all TD games, even the ones on PC
Replayability: 9/10 ;difficult game with many different strategies to be implemented. The varying maps make it even more interesting.
Suggestions: This file feels a little unfinished: adding a nice title screen, adding a mix of enemies instead of just one type per level, adding different types of towers that vary more than just by damage and range, and adding external mapsets could make this a staple for all 83/84 users. The file is only around 5k so I know it can be done!
