Description
|
In second order differential equations, we run into differential equations of the type y''+Py'+Qy=f(x). By solving the homogeneous linear differential equation y''+Py'+Qy=0, we obtain the solution yh=C1*y1+C2*y2. Using y1, y2, and f(x) with the variation of parameters, we can find the particular solution, yp, to the nonhomogeneous differential equation.
