The GUI of this game is fantastic! I hacked this game over the last hour, and the skill and talent involved in the coding is stunning. I did, however find one disappointing fact about the game... It uses a preset format, only randomizing the number order by adding integers. The default order is as follows:
3 1 2 | 4 5 7 | 6 8 9
4 5 9 | 8 6 3 | 1 2 7
8 6 7 | 1 2 9 | 3 4 5
------+-------+------
7 3 6 | 5 4 8 | 2 9 1
2 9 4 | 7 3 1 | 5 6 8
5 8 1 | 6 9 2 | 7 3 4
------+-------+------
6 4 8 | 3 1 5 | 9 7 2
9 7 5 | 2 8 6 | 4 1 3
1 2 3 | 9 7 4 | 8 5 6
That means, for example, if the first row starts with 5, that whole row should read: 5 3 4 | 6 7 9 | 8 1 2 |

I enjoyed this program. Even though written in Basic, it loads quickly. The puzzles are challenging and non-repetitive. For anybody who's looking to play with numbers and brainteasers, this is a MUST HAVE.
Coding: 8/10
Fun Factor: 8/10
Replay value: 7/10
Speed: 9/10
OVERALL: 80% :) |
