This program calculates the sling load for wire rope on a 4 way pick (4 slings from one hook). Diameters from 1/4 inch to 1 and 1/2 inch. Above 1 inch use decimals for the diameter entry. Below 1 inch use fractions. The calculations are based on standard SWL (safe working load) using a safety factor of 5. Before using this enter examples to verify that program is correct.
